Lawrence Family Reunion

October 20, 2007 , 11:00 o’clock, Thousand Hills Resort, Branson Mo.

The fourth annual Lawrence Reunion will be hosted by Debbie Hall and Linda Knight this year in Branson Mo. The day will be spent sharing info and pictures on the Lawrence and all related families.

Sarah Lawrence & her Sons settled in Douglas County around 1840. They played a key role in the Civil War, and the settlement of Rome Mo. where they owned “Lawrence Mill”.  A fort was built to protect the mill and here the “Battle of Fort Lawrence” was fought. As years passed descendants of this family settled in Taney, Stone, Ozark & Polk Counties, as well as Oklahoma and Texas.

This reunion will honor the descendants of  Thomas W., Randolph, William, Henry, and Samuel Lawrence.

Any one interested in this family is welcome to attend. Bring any info and pictures that you would like to share. A copy machine will be provided.

For further info please contact Debbie Hall, 417-683-1029, or 417- 818-6365.
