Sheriff Tommy Walker of Stone County, Missouri was appointed
Sheriff in 1943 to finish two years of Dale Davis' term.
He went on to serve as Sheriff for twenty years. UPDATE According to an email received March 24, 2005 from Sara Mitchell, "The unidentified gentleman in picture 206 with Tommy Walker is Newt Bruffett. He was the brother of my grandmother's grandmother." |
