The lady pictured is her great-grandmother Sarah Anne (Snyder) Cox, wife of  George Washington Cox.  Sarah and George were the parents of Martha Evaline Cox Taylor who married James W. Taylor. James Taylor's family moved to Stone County, Missouri about 1857. 

Shirley (Taylor) Carter is the granddaughter of Martha and James Taylor.
