She was born in Marion, Indiana the daughter of John Thomas Hamilton and Elmisra Elizabeth (Huston) Hamilton. Daniel Jabus Yochum was born February 18, 1844 in Taney County, Missouri. He died December 18, 1942 in Hannibal, Marion County, Missouri. Daniel was the son of Jess and Mary (Jones) Yochum.
