ED GALLOWAY
This photo of Ed Galloway was taken in Oklahoma. Ed was
originally from Stone County. He made over 300 fiddles from different woods,
built a totem pole out of rock which is a tourist attraction located four
miles off Old Highway 66. According to his nephew, Bill Hooton, Ed
built a house on the James River. "He bolted the house to the foundation
like houses are constructed today. Ed swore that neither wind, rain or
God could destroy his house---a few months later there came a flood, and
there went his house." Email: Valerie
