of Daniel Messenger and daughter of John Caulder Estes and Margaret (Jones)
Estes. Eliza was born July 29, 1838 in Morgan County, Tennessee,
and died May 27, 1924 in Clever, Missouri.
Eliza and Daniel had three children including: William Wesley, Benjamin Franklin, and Margarite Macky. Eliza was first married to James H. Childers who died of illness while serving the Union during the Civil War. They had one son, John S. Childers. |
