Old Wall or Yoachum Cemetery

There are only two carved stones in the Old Wall or Yoachum Cemetery.
The two stones mark the graves of George Yoachum, b. March 16, 1796, d.October
14, 1848 and his wife Alcely Yoachum, b. April 23, 1805, d. March 12, 1837.
It is believed that the wall of native stone surrounding the cemetery was
constructed by slaves. The cemetery is located near Jamesville, Missouri
in Stone County.
