Obediah West Patty married Mary Catherine Cloud, daughter of Calvin and Mary Jane Cloud. They were the parents of Ollis W., Ida G., Alice V., and Mary C. Patty.  After the death of his wife, Obediah and his children traveled west to Oregon then to Washington.  He died October 5, 1929.  His sister Texas Catherine was the mother of Mary Florance Inman, born in Stone County, 1871, and Moses Winfords Inman, born in Carrol County, Arkansas in 1872.
