Ann Steele was born in 1810, and died in 1892. She was the daughter of Richard Steele, Sr., and wife of Rev. Alexander Anderson Young. The photo above was submitted by Eugene Hampton.  It was given to him by Fred Mieswinkel, Editor of the quarterly Steele Report.  Fred acquired the photo from Sue Stafford of Stockton, Missouri.
