Mary "Polly" Caviner Lane was born 23 February 1848, TN, the daughter of James and Frances (Gray) Caviner.  She was married on 28 May 1871, Stone Co., MO. to James E. Lane.

Polly died on 21 August 1904, Stone
Co., MO and is buried at Mount Carmel Cemetery, Christian Co., MO.
