Elizabeth Holt was married to "Doc" Fielding Justus Woods. They were the parents of nine children including: LuRetta, Lefa, Page, Ples, Mae, Junior, Lee, Alice, and Dale.

Doc Woods was a teacher for many years at the old schoolhouse down on Railey Creek located where the first bridge is now coming from Reeds Springs.
